Adidas built the Adizero on a two-layer bed of Lightstrike Pro foam for premium responsiveness and Lightstrike EVA for added durability. These combination midsole foams work to create a snappy, energetic ride no matter your workout. In addition to bouncy midsole foam, Adidas designers incorporated anatomically constructed carbon Energyrods for added stiffness and propulsion as you run.
A lightweight and flexible upper supports the midfoot and offers enough room in the toe box for natural toe splay as your run for lightweight stability at top speeds. Plus, the upper is designed with 50 percent recycled polyester.
